A social network for children is coming.

Lego has launched a social network for children, so they can interact with each other without revealing personal information.
This is LegoLife, a social network created by Lego that allows users to share and comment on their creations in a safe environment. The Danish toy company has made the leap to the internet, allowing its youngest fans to star in fun and dynamic stories.
LegoLife It has all the characteristics of a social network, thanks to user profiles, the "like" button, comments, a hashtag system (although in this case it is through emojis) and a wall, with a mix of content powered by Lego, and images shared by users.
Protection of personal information
Profile pictures have been replaced with custom Lego avatars to create a safer, more child-friendly social network. Children under 13 will require specific parental permission to register. Furthermore, these profiles are designed to avoid revealing users' personal information.
The children's social network also includes a system for scanning images uploaded to the app, which detects inappropriate content (such as user photos or anything that could reveal their identity). The app, already available in some countries, will soon arrive in Spain.
Apen, cybersecurity specialist
At Apen, we understand the importance of cybersecurity and privacy in protecting users' personal lives. Social media platforms are among the most likely places where users' personal information is revealed, which is why we believe LegoLife has taken great care in protecting its users' personal data, especially considering that it targets children.
