What will you learn?
The Cybersecurity training for users Apen's is a practical and visual session designed to help employees of any company understand digital risks and adopt secure habits in their daily work. Through real-world examples and simple explanations, it shows why any organization can be a target and how the human factor remains the most important link in protecting against cyberattacks.
During the session, the most common threats are explained, along with how to identify them, from identity theft attempts and email, phone, or SMS fraud to the various types of malware and ransomware that can affect computers. Participants learn to recognize warning signs and how to respond appropriately if they encounter a suspicious situation or if their device has been compromised.
The guide also covers best practices for daily email and internet use, with recommendations for detecting malicious messages, identifying secure websites, and protecting personal information. A special section is dedicated to creating strong passwords and using two-step authentication, a simple yet highly effective measure to prevent unauthorized access.
The training also includes tips for protecting devices and data, such as keeping systems updated, using antivirus and firewalls, reviewing application permissions, and using cloud storage and USB drives responsibly. It teaches how to perform proper backups using the 3-2-1 method, combining local and cloud storage to ensure data recovery in the event of any incident.
Finally, the session explores the role of social media and the importance of protecting privacy and digital reputation. It concludes with a visual review and a short quiz that allows participants to assess their learning and take away a practical checklist for becoming more cyber-safe users.
