VPS Server

A VPS is a virtual server A virtual private server (VPS) is essentially a virtual partition within a physical server that allocates exclusive resources to each partition. Access is granted, allowing users to install an operating system and work with a high degree of freedom. A VPS is one of the most popular hosting services available for websites today.

A server is a computer on which your web server stores the files and databases necessary for your website. Whenever an online visitor wants to access your website, their browser sends a request to your server, which then transfers the necessary files over the internet. VPS hosting provides you with a virtual server that simulates a physical server; however, in reality, the machine is shared among multiple users.

With virtualization technology, the hosting provider installs a virtual layer on top of the server's operating system. This layer divides the server into partitions and allows each user to install their own operating system and software.

Therefore, a VPS is both virtual and private because each user has complete control. It is isolated from other server users at the operating system level. In fact, VPS technology is similar to creating partitions on your own computer when you want to run more than one operating system (for example, Windows and Linux) without restarting.

A VPS is one of the most secure and stable solutions, especially compared to shared hosting, since the latter doesn't provide dedicated server space. However, it's smaller and more economical than renting an entire server.

VPS hosting is generally chosen by website owners who have medium-level traffic that exceeds the limits of shared hosting plans, but who are not yet at a high enough level of visits to need the resources of a dedicated server.

Running a VPS allows you to set up a website within a secure container with guaranteed resources such as memory, disk space, CPU cores, and more, which you don't have to share with other users. With VPS hosting, you have the same root-level access as with a dedicated server, but at a much lower cost.

The biggest advantages of a VPS are the security it offers, the scalability it allows in case more resources are needed, and the quick recovery that can occur in case of any problem.
