As we adapt once again to a new way of working (flexi-work), we need to clearly draw a line between work and home. And this means understanding the risks of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apen.es\/en\/\">cybersecurity<\/a>&nbsp;which involves working remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When working from home, you must take certain precautions&nbsp;<strong>cybersecurity<\/strong>&nbsp;To avoid attacks, and you have probably already taken some measures, however, we invite you to read this list of common mistakes and make sure you are not making them.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image26533_3b211c-cd .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image26533_3b211c-cd\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apen.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/apple-1834328_1920.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"kb-img\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cybersecurity at home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Not securing the home router<br>Let&#039;s begin with a simple step of&nbsp;<strong>cybersecurity&nbsp;<\/strong>to make your home network more secure. Not many people change the default password on their home routers, making them an easy target for cybercriminals. Changing your router&#039;s password to something unique is a simple step to&nbsp;<strong>cybersecurity<\/strong>that you can take to protect your home network from malicious actors who want to access your devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Separate work and personal devices<br>It may be easier said than done, but it&#039;s important to create boundaries between your work life and your family life, especially when you work from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it can be frustrating to constantly switch between devices just to pay a bill or place an order, keeping your work device separate from your home device can help reduce the amount of sensitive data lost. It was compromised, which contributes to the&nbsp;<strong>cybersecurity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Enable automatic locking<br>If you step away from your device, whether you&#039;re at home or in a coffee shop, you should always lock it. While this is a very simple security measure, we&#039;re all guilty of forgetting time and time again. This is where automatic locks come in to protect our unattended devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, auto-lock is enabled on most modern devices.
