This regulation unifies the laws of all member states of the European Economic Community regarding the protection of personal data.<br>The law came into effect on December 6, 2018&nbsp;<strong>LOPDGDD<\/strong>. This new regulation is an adaptation of the old national law.<strong>&nbsp;Data Protection Act&nbsp;<\/strong>15\/1999 to the General Data Protection Regulation&nbsp;<strong>GDPR<\/strong>.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who has to adapt?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All companies, entities, associations, neighborhood communities or self-employed individuals that use personal data; such as data of employees, clients, patients, video surveillance, etc\u2026<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the new obligations?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>He&nbsp;<strong>GDPR<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>LOPDGDD<\/strong>&nbsp;They present modifications and new obligations regarding the&nbsp;<strong>Data Protection Act<\/strong>&nbsp;15\/1999.<br>Some of the new obligations:<br>\u2022 Tacit consent disappears and becomes worthless: To send commercial information, express\/implicit consent would be necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Obligation to document all processing operations. Increased oversight of data processors and the services we provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 New notifications to the Supervisory Authority: security breaches and prior authorization for certain types of processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 New role of Data Protection Officer in some companies\/entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Increase in the amount of the penalties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>or SERIOUS PENALTIES: Up to 10 million euros or 21% of the total annual turnover of the previous financial year.<br>or VERY SERIOUS SANCTIONS: Up to 20 million euros or up to 4% of the total annual turnover of the previous financial year.<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I adapt this to my company?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It allows us to add Microsoft applications and third-party services to our workspace.<br>You can contact us and we will advise you on Data Protection.
