WHAT IS ONEDRIVE?<\/h2>\n\n\n

OneDrive is an online storage platform with a large amount of space that Microsoft<\/strong> <\/a>It is offered free of charge to anyone who has an account with this company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don't remember OneDrive by name, it's probably because it's changed over the years. Until January 2014, OneDrive was called SkyDrive. Before that, until the release of Windows 8, it was called Windows Live SkyDrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OneDrive is like a cloud-based hard drive with several benefits, most notably its intermittent connection to Windows 10 and the option to purchase more storage. OneDrive offers 5 GB of free storage to everyone with a Microsoft account; however, Microsoft's offers for purchasing additional storage change periodically, with a tendency to decrease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of OneDrive is to keep all your files and folders stored and synchronized. Like other cloud storage services, OneDrive gives users the opportunity to securely save their files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should I use OneDrive?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are several reasons to choose One Drive, ranging from easy access to your cloud storage space on any device, to how simple it is to share things from One Drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, getting started with OneDrive is free, as long as you only use the free storage space provided. However, this is a great starting point for anyone wanting to store more than just a few files in the cloud and an excellent opportunity to try OneDrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Windows 10, Microsoft configures OneDrive to be the default location for storing your documents. If you allow it, OneDrive can automatically back up your files to the cloud and sync them across your other devices where you've set up OneDrive. If your hard drive or SSD fails, your documents are available in OneDrive, preventing the loss of important files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can even set up OneDrive to automatically upload files (photos and videos) from your Android smartphone or iPhone, so you don't risk losing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OneDrive is ubiquitous in Windows 10, the most widely used operating system for PCs. This also means you don't have to do anything special to get OneDrive on Windows 10. By default, OneDrive is installed with Windows 10, and all you have to do to access your files in the cloud is open the OneDrive folder in File Explorer, eliminating the need to install any additional apps on your computer.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
