WHAT IS A GAS?

He SGA Warehouse Management Software is a tool used to to manage all warehouse processes and movements, such as inventory, controlling stock levels, preventing losses… In general, it optimizes all management, saves time and reduces costs.
For the correct management and operation of the software, the products in the warehouse must be identified with a unique code, and represented with a label with the corresponding code that allows automatic reading.
MODELS
This software is divided into 5 fundamental parts or modules:
Product entry module: It plans the entry of all products. This includes coding and identifying the product, registering the product, and performing quality control, among many other tasks.
Storage module: This part of the WMS allows you to optimize warehouse stock. It prevents stockouts and product accumulation.
Preparation module: Prepare orders, plan tasks, organize warehouse areas, assign operators, and decide what resources should be used for each job.
Shipping and Logistics Module: He is in charge of the products leaving the warehouse as well as the documentation necessary for their release.
Warehouse process module: Gather all the information from the warehouse, of the operators, product routes, zones and resources to make the necessary and correct decisions for the proper functioning of the warehouse.
CHARACTERISTICS
The WMS connects or can be linked to any of the company's ERP programs. Once connected, the WMS integrates with the other ERP modules to create a fully connected system.
Generally, the WMS includes two types of mechanisms: one that handles the mechanism itself physical space of the warehouse and the other one movements that occur. Many others include other mechanisms such as the cross docking. These are designed for those types of warehouses where the product is not stored but goes directly through the distribution process, meaning that the product comes in and goes out for delivery.
