Apen and the FECEC They signed a new company agreement last Friday, January 17th. OncoCompromised, to move forward with the project What to do when cancer appears at work?
 
Since this program was implemented in 2017, the FECEC The Small and Medium Enterprise Association of Vallès Oriental (PIMEC), the two driving entities, have forged collaborative alliances in the territory that have allowed them to extend knowledge to those responsible for a business about which they must be made when diagnosing a cancer to one of his workers.
 
So, with our joining the project, there are now 5 companies. Cancer-compromised in Vallès Oriental we have committed to implementing this program.
People who have suffered a cancer, Sometimes, they have difficulty returning to work. The program aims to support businesses, workers, and the self-employed to minimize the negative impact which the disease entails both for the organization and for the affected worker.

«"What to do when the cancer at work?", is therefore a program with social value that aims to work on a corporate culture health more inclusive within the world of work, and maximize the opportunities for people living with cancer to maintain or resume an active work role after diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
 
At Apen we encourage all companies to join these types of projects to tackle cancer on a human and business level.
