Windows 7 is now history!

Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 7 Starting this Tuesday, January 14th. Even though the vast majority of users have already switched to Windows 10, the latest version of the operating system, There is still 32,75% left of users who continue to use what is considered one of the most stable versions of Microsoft Windows since it was released in 1985.
For this reason, all users who continue to use this operating system have been left without technical support and without Windows Update software updates. It's now a fact: Microsoft has stopped offering technical support to Windows 7 to focus on newer technologies and new experiences.

How does it affect you?

If you are one of those people who still uses Windows 7, You can continue using your computer as before. However, since you will no longer receive software and security updates, you will be vulnerable. Microsoft reminds us that you will be more exposed to the risk of both viruses and malware. This means you will need to seek third-party assistance to resolve any issues that may arise.

What should you do?

Undoubtedly, migrating to a new operating system is the only option. There's no other way; Microsoft isn't going to backtrack, just as they didn't with Windows XP. Therefore, the only solution is to migrate to a new operating system. If you're still a Windows XP user... Windows 7 The logical next step is to switch to Windows 10 (it maintains the same minimum hardware specifications as its two previous versions).

If you still use Windows 7 Anticipate potential problems and switch to Windows 10, either by updating your operating system or by purchasing new equipment that suits your needs.
