Apen collaborates with Manos Unidas

This year, our collaboration with ManosUnidas is within the framework of the training and socio-economic integration of young people in Kisantu (Democratic Republic of Congo) under the motto: “Our indifference condemns them to oblivion.” The objectives of the 2022 project aim to achieve:
More classrooms
The project involves establishing a carpentry workshop to enhance professional skills and facilitate the entry of young people into the workforce. This will entail renovating two 53 m² training classrooms and a 250 m² practical workshop. A new adjacent sanitary block will also be constructed, and the necessary machinery and equipment will be purchased.
Reaching more young people
To train 30 more young people per course, which adds up to 60 more per year.
Expand your training
The workshop is taught by two master carpenters and is a two-year, two-year (480 days of instruction) course combining theory and practice. A preparatory course is also available for students who do not yet have the necessary skill level to enroll. Once both courses are passed, students receive the official professional title of carpenter (which will allow them to enter the workforce)
From Apen We encourage you to join this initiative to help reverse the discrimination of opportunities and the lack of equality in the world…DON'T HESITATE, COLLABORATE!
