Google introduces “Meet”, the new video calling app for businesses

Today on the Apen blog we want to talk to you about “Meet”, an app created by Google that allows companies to make video calls and video conferences with high image quality.
This app is designed for businesses to hold HD video meetings and is available for web and mobile. "Meet" is very similar to the Hangouts website, but it doesn't have call and chat options; instead, you have to enter a meeting code to join a meeting or to view scheduled meetings.
This app, created by the search engine giant, allows group video calls with up to 30 participants in high definition. It also includes features for easy access to calls, such as a dial-in number for when you're traveling, direct links to join a meeting, and access from Gmail and Calendar.
The main Meet screen displays a list of your scheduled meetings, along with details such as time, location, topic, attendees, and more. During large meetings, a main window at the top shows who is speaking, as well as a longer list of other participants' screens.
Apen and business management
At Apen, we have a product equivalent to "Meet," called Skype for Business, a Microsoft product. You can see more details at this link.
